Cancellation Conditions

The prepayment (made in cash, by bank transfer to the company's account, or by credit card) for the cost of renting a villa/apartment, deposited into AquaLettings' account, will not be refunded to the customer if there are less than 15 days left before the start of the trip.

 

Cancellation Policy:

• To confirm the booking, we require a prepayment of 30% of the total accommodation cost. The prepayment must be made within 3 working days from the moment we receive the booking request. If we do not receive the prepayment within the specified period, the booking will be automatically canceled.

• If the booking is canceled 15 days or more before the check-in date, the full prepayment amount will be refunded.

• If the booking is canceled less than 15 days before the check-in date, the prepayment will not be refunded.

• If the client voluntarily pays the full cost of villa/apartment accommodation to AquaLettings by cash, bank transfer, or credit card, and the booking is canceled less than 15 days before the check-in date, 30% (thirty percent) of the cost will not be refunded. The remaining 70% (seventy percent) will be refunded to the client's provided bank account or via Western Union, minus Western Union's commission, within 3 months.

• Financial damages that may arise from refunding payments made by credit card cannot be attributed to AquaLettings. This type of financial loss, including commission fees, etc., will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to the client.

• If for any reason AquaLettings cancels a villa/apartment reservation, the client will be notified as soon as possible. If there is an equivalent villa/apartment available in our portfolio for the same dates, it will be offered to the client. In cases where the client does not approve the offer and does not fall under "force majeure" conditions, the money received will be refunded to the client.

• In addition, some of our villas/apartments are private (indicated on the detailed villa/apartment page on the website), and therefore we require 100% payment of the rental cost 15 days before the arrival date. Even if the reservation is canceled, the payment is non-refundable.

• If the client does not pay the remaining amount within the specified timeframe as stated in the contract, AquaLettings reserves the right to cancel the reservation, not refund the pre-paid amount, and rent the villa/apartment/flat to other clients.

• Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing (e.g., by email or registered mail with proof of delivery). Cancellation made by phone is unequivocally invalid. The cancellation of the booking takes effect from the moment AquaLettings receives the letter.

• AquaLettings is not responsible for cases in which a client decides not to use the reserved villa/apartment or fails to inform AquaLettings in writing about their actions. In such cases, AquaLettings is not responsible for the consequences of this decision. However, if the contract was properly executed and confirmed by both parties, all conditions, including payment, must be fulfilled in accordance with the contract.

• The full cost of services specified in the contract must be paid on the date agreed upon between AquaLettings and the client, along with the handover of the villa/apartment. If payment is not made, AquaLettings reserves all of its legal rights in this matter. AquaLettings has the right to take legal action to collect the debt.
