Cancellation Policy
The prepayment made for renting a villa, apartment, or flat to AquaLettings (regardless of the payment method, including cash, bank transfer, or credit card) is non-refundable if the trip is cancelled less than 15 days before the start date.
Conditions for refunding the prepayment:
- If the booking is canceled 15 or more days before the check-in date: The prepayment will be fully refunded.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 15 days before the check-in date: The prepayment is non-refundable.
Refund Conditions for 100% Prepayment:
If the client fully pays for the rental (in cash, via bank transfer to AquaLettings' account, or by credit card), in case of cancellation:
- If the booking is canceled 15 or more days before the check-in date: The full amount will be refunded to the client. However, transfer fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 15 days before the check-in date: 30% of the paid amount will not be refunded, and the remaining 70% will be refunded to the client's specified account.
Additional costs, such as credit card refund fees, will be deducted from the refund amount. AquaLettings is not responsible for these charges.
Cancellation of Booking by AquaLettings:
If AquaLettings cancels the booking for any reason:
- The client will be notified as soon as possible.
- If an equivalent property is available in the company's portfolio for the same dates, it will be offered to the client.
- If the client refuses the offered option, and the situation does not fall under "force majeure," the paid funds will be refunded.
Special Conditions for Certain Properties:
For some villas and apartments, special conditions apply, which are stated on the property’s page on our website:
- The prepayment or full rental price is non-refundable, even in the case of booking cancellation.
Failure to Meet Payment Terms:
If the client does not pay the remaining balance on time, AquaLettings reserves the right to:
- Cancel the booking.
- Not refund any already paid funds.
- Rent the property to another client.
Cancellation Procedure:
The cancellation must be made in writing (via email or registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt).
A cancellation made by phone is not valid.
The cancellation will be effective from the moment AquaLettings receives the written notice from the client.
Other Terms:
AquaLettings is not responsible if the client:
- Decides not to use the booked property.
- Fails to notify the company accordingly.
- In a correctly executed contract, all conditions, including payment, remain binding on both parties.
Full Payment:
The full rental price must be paid within the timeframes specified in the contract. The final payment deadline is the day of check-in.
AquaLettings reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover the debt if the payment terms are violated.
